Pla de Reguant de Súria
The Pla de Reguant is a riparian forest located in the south of the town of Súria, on the right bank of the river Cardener.
The meander of the river in this area has favored the formation of the current 19-hectare riparian forest, the largest in central Catalonia.
The Pla de Reguant, at the end of the Castelltallat mountain range and also halfway between the sea and the Pirineus, makes its biodiversity especially rich.
Nearby, in a place called El Salí, in 1912, potassium salts were discovered.
